UUC has had a long history of advocating for refugees and immigrants. For several years, the congregation hosted an English as a Second Language class for Arabic-speaking adults.

UUC currently has a partnership with the Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services refugee program, including hosting the organization’s mobile health clinic on a quarterly basis.
