FAST (Faith and Action for Strength Together) is an inter-faith, multi-cultural, social justice

organization comprised of over 40 congregations in Pinellas County. Each September, small

groups meet in each congregation to discuss what social justice problems are on their minds.

The input from these groups determines the organization’s direction for the next year. In

October, over 400 FAST network members voted on “youth issues” to be the issue for the 2025-

26 year. In the spring, FAST will hold a large assembly of over 1500 people. Elected officials are

invited to this program and are asked to support solutions to the issues identified (Nehemiah Action).
