Reverend Patrice Curtis

Rev. Patrice accepted her ministerial role with UUC in 2015. She holds a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California, a Masters in International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Anthropology from the University of California-Davis with further post graduate work at Oxford University. Rev. Patrice brings her vast cultural experience to UUC in her very humble, poignant, and unique way. Julie Daysa, Director of Family Ministries

Born and raised in Michigan, Julie met her wife, Jen, at grad school in New Jersey. They lived briefly in Seattle, then moved to New Hampshire for 4 years before moving here to Florida. Julie shares her home with her two four-year-olds, Jacob & Joelle; 6-month old Lizzie; and two rescued beagles. In her free time, you might find Julie running or biking on the Pinellas Trail with her family. Julie is passionate about equipping families to grow together on their spiritual journeys. Julie has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree in Religion from Calvin College.

Dr. David Katz, Music Director

Dr. Katz has been with UUC since 2009. David directs the adult Chorale and administrates the musical offerings at UUC. He has held positions at a number of UU congregations throughout Florida, and has also served as cantorial soloist at Temple Shalom in Port Charlotte. A classically trained singer, pianist and organist, he holds degrees from Peabody Conservatory of Music and Ohio Wesleyan University. His life is shared with his partner, Chuck, and their Chihuahua.

Linda Jones, Pianist

Linda has been with UUC since September 2005. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in piano performance from UCF and USF. Linda has maintained a studio for private piano teaching and is a collaborative artist. Linda enjoys gardening, making mosaics, art and tending to her four parrots.
